My take on summer school.

OK.  So my first summer session is over. yes, I’m taking the second one too because I thought it really wasn’t that bad.

From my experience(and yours may differ):

• summer sessions go by way faster then regular semesters.
• they aren’t that difficult, the professors usually try to make it simple.
• you’re not wasting the whole summer and actually getting classes out of the way while you work/party/do whatever
• Yes, class timings are LONG i.e. I had 3 hr 40 minute classes Mon through Thursday.
• Yes, it’s very expensive for international students.

So here you go. A short list of pros & cons of summer school that might help you decide your next summer plans.

p.s. I am taking the second summer session too, because I really want some classes out of the way and a better Fall semester
